The name of this place is the Bukit Tabur, a rocky hill on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur had a hiking track that is quite challenging. With Distances around 30 minutes drive from the city center we can achieve this place easily. Bukit Tabur is located at Taman Melawati area, the locals call it the Bukit Hangus (Mount of Scorched). To reach the place you only need to follow the path to MRR2, straight to Park Melawati (if from the Kuala Lumpur turn right at the intersection of Giant Supermarket). Following the road on the first circle turn left (9 o’clock) and the circle into two fixed straight (12 o’clock direction), until you find the intersection of three then you turn right and follow road until the end as this area called Kampung Klang Gates.
Rugged hill rock crystal have height of about 1000 meters, while the right side hill there is a DAM or a giant dam called the Klang Gate, this area is famous to start a hiking activity. This giant dam has a height of about 50 meters. This hiking trip will take anywhere from 3-4 hours to reach its peak. Forest nature reserve this crest has a spectacular view, you can see the beauty giant DAM on your right if you’ve reached the top of the Bukit Tabur.
If you depart from the hours of 6 am, then you can enjoy the scenery spectacular sunrise from the top Bukit Tabur. Not forgetting also on the back of the hill you can see the city of Kuala Lumpur is clearly following the Petronas Twin Tower. In the opposite direction you can also see Genting Highland in the absence of fog that covered the area in the morning.
